Years ago one of my spiritual teachers commanded me to "work to restore astrology to religion and religion to astrology." Which religion wasn't specified and I have taken this assignment to apply to the religious science itself regardless of which cultural form it takes. Nowhere in my writings will you find that I advocate one religion over another. I do advocate that you intentionally involve yourself in developing consciousness.

This website, along with my writings, classes, and spoken word programs, are intended to serve that end. Here you will find a combination of lessons on the basics of astrology, spiritual psychology, scriptures from various cultures, practices for developing and enhancing consciousness, and more.

The Purpose of Life

All beings are spiritual beings. We use these physical bodies to focus consciousness in space and time, in the material world. Losing track of our Self, forgetting who and what we are is a common experience. The purpose of living is to develop the character needed for conscious wholeness - true integrity. In this state, every impulse of creativity finds an outlet for effective self-expression. This is the formula for joy and fulfillment - happiness. Happiness is the symptom that Life's purpose is being fulfilled.

The Role of Spiritual Astrology

Spiritual astrology is an intuitive language. Becoming literate, that is, learning to read and speak the language of astrology, gives the intuitive intelligence, which is an innate part of our consciousness, a vehicle for development at the conscious level of awareness. Without a language, intelligent perceptions remain abstract and often confined below the threshold of awareness.

Natal astrology provides a look at the structure of one's karma and the psychological predispositions which insure karma is met as we pass through time.

Many of astrology's methods help the student develop a greater familiarity with time, cycle, and the nature of change itself. This helps the spiritual aspirant master her or his creative nature in this world of time and form.

Astrology is the technical language of wholisitic philosophy.
